Hi, I'm Lisa Harvey

I'm a Certified Travel Professional and the proud owner of Someday Soon Travel. I believe that life is too short to put off our dreams, especially when it comes to travel!

My Story

I currently reside in Florida and share my home with my wonderful husband and three retired service dogs who bring us so much joy and love! We have two young adult children who we love dearly, and we are learning to navigate life as empty nesters.

Travel has always been a huge part of my life! I got my certification as a travel agent at 19, launching me into an exciting career as a flight attendant. Fun fact: I met my husband while flying the friendly skies! After hanging up my wings, I continued to work in Travel & Tourism before stepping back to raise my kids.

Over the years, I've often found myself saying, “Someday we’ll go there,” but life moves faster than you think. After navigating a major illness and watching my kids graduate, I wondered, “What’s next?” The answer was clear: it was time to explore those dream destinations! So, with my husband as my travel partner, I embarked on an adult gap year, crossing destinations off my bucket list and embracing adventures I had always dreamed of!

Someday Soon Travel

While strolling the streets of London, I turned to my husband and told him I wished I had never fully left the travel industry. That’s when he sparked a chain of events with one simple question: "Why not get back into it?"  In that moment, I knew exactly what I was meant to do.

Like so many of you, I kept putting my travel dreams on the back burner, telling myself, “someday.” Someday, I would explore Europe. Someday, I would spend a summer in Italy with my kids. Someday, I would be healthy enough to travel again. Well, my someday finally came. For the second time in my life, I became a Certified Travel Professional. Now I’m passionate about encouraging others, like you, to live their own “someday” travel dreams.
